hey friends..

any suggestition from u guys for my room.. ??

Re: wedding room deco

if the wall is maroon then curtain would be white golden mix … and carpet should be maroon

Re: wedding room deco

but the only wall which will b the back of the bed gonna b maroon.. rest 3 sides would b white..

Re: wedding room deco

I don’t think you should do black as it would make the room smaller. If you want, you could incorporate a few back pieces of decoration or something. A white carpet would make the room look bigger but maroon wouldn’t look bad if the curtains were also maroon.

Re: wedding room deco

I think use golden curtains with maroon borders and Carpet in maroon will look great, Dont use black

Re: wedding room deco

hmm ya .. i m lukin forward to use maroon carpet.. n maroon + golden curtains.. hows it nw???

Re: wedding room deco

depends on the kind of look you’re going for. if something more traditional, something like this: Buena Vista Deco - eclectic - bedroom - san francisco - by Jerry Jacobs Design, Inc.

if more contemporary: Master Bedroom - contemporary - bedroom - las vegas - by Inhabit Design

another traditional space: Hampton Master Bedroom - eclectic - bedroom - other metro - by Cecilia Staniec

this is a little darker maroon, but i like this space because the tons of white balances out the maroon very nicely- Traditional Bedroom - traditional - bedroom - los angeles - by Tracy Murdock Allied ASID

you can also have a beige or white carpet and layer a persian-style rug in maroon on top like in this room- Row House Interiors Living Room - eclectic - living room - boston - by LDa Architecture & Interiors

i would keep the gold minimal to accent colours like maybe in the chandelier, the side lamps, the hardware on your furniture, or maybe just picture frames. Stamford Bedroom Detail - traditional - bedroom - austin - by Hugh Jefferson Randolph Architects

i also love the way this room looks- instead of the teal, i could see maroon working in there very well- J. Hirsch Interior Design Portfolio - traditional - bedroom - - by Janie K. Hirsch, ASID

thanx alot friends

Re: wedding room deco

Since you have two colors in the room decor - golden and maroon

I suggest you use Maroon as an accent color , while golden can act as the main color .. So you can keep the curtains Golden with maybe a tinge of maroon at the borders .. the carpet should be a neutral shade so you can choose any color thats close to the shade of Golden and maybe you choose a little rug that has the same shades as your carpet and your furniture ..

the good things with this kind of room setting is that :
1- when you decorate the room with accent color accessories, its easier and less expensive to change them when you get bored of the color

2- the more the neutral shades in the room , the less you will get bored ..

3- the lighter the main color of the decor, the brighter it will look and make the accent color more glamourous

Re: wedding room deco

Yes, I would keep everything neutral and accessorise with the burgundy colour. You mentioned the walls being white, I would use a cream or ivory based colour as white can be a rather cold colour for bedrooms.
