hey guys! i was wondering if anyone had any information regarding wedding reception venues in the niagara falls area? also if they allow outside caterers. my brother is getting married to a girl form upstate new york and we are planning the valima from the US. the reason for the canadian wedding venue is because a close relativeof the brides is having visa issues. please help! any advice would be great! we woulde prefer afghan/persian food at the wedding. so if you guyshave any recommendations on good restaurants let me know

have you tried the major hotels in Niagara Falls? Like Fallsview Hotel, maybe look up Hilton or other major chains. They are all there and if they are big enough, they tend to have reception halls within the hotel. Other than that, the only other venues I can think of in that area would be wineries, but that won't work :(
thanks for the suggestion! do you know if they allow outside caterers? we really want ethnic food. and good food also not the "hotel version" of paki or afghan food.
that is the big problem. the food! i think we are more interested in getting the food right and a place which will allow it. so annoying when you are not from the area and know nobody form the area also!

you might have to contact a local planner to look these things up for you. i found this link - Wedding Locations
for venues, as far as i know, outside of a winery/vineyard, a hotel is your best bet. they will not allow outside catering but some hotel chefs are either indian or pakistani, so you might not have to settle for the hotel version. you should look up the hotel in and around niagara falls that you think you might be interested in, on google, and then start calling.
