There are two rasams that I recall from our weddings. Washing the dulhans feet, but we do it with water - it’s consider bey-adabi to do it with milk :nono:

And for the groom to read 2-rakat namaz on the dulhan’s aanchaal.

There are many Sindhi Hindus living in Pakistan who are indigenous, including Deepak Perwani the fashion designer.

These two fellows behind the bride in the pictures look very familiar as well…

unfortunately, we are still following indian culture when it comes to shadi.

I know it is good to perform two rakah nafal of thanks after nikkah. but i am not aware of dulhan anchal thing. could you tell me more about it?

I have attended few hindu weddings and all of the above rasams were performed, except the namaz of course.
