Hi guys, I have used Paklinks alot to get inspiration and ideas and information about planning my wedding. The Big day is near now…I am getting married in Islamabad and I am having issues finding a make up artist!
I have searched for some through previous threads - Daniella, Sobia’s, Jugnu, Allenora’s
I am not a fan of Daniella’s make up i find that the eyes are too heavy and the contouring is really bad…my cousin had her make up done from daniella and her face looked much bigger than it actually is
I heard that Sobia is good but snobby…I want to see some of her work because her Facebook pictures are old and outdated
Jugnu is a male artist and I would not feel comfortable around him
I am also unsure about Allnenoras because I have not seem much of their work!
I love mariam’s make up and madeeha’s is good too but unfortunately they are both based in Lahore…can someone please give me some suggestions. I want a really flawless base, soft eyes nothing heavy or dramatic and bold lips…
Also I wanted to ask… My Walima will be in the Jhelum area, and I wanted to know if any of you guys know any good make up artists in that area or whether any make up artists would travel there to help me get ready!!!

Hey, I'm also getting married in Islamabad- first week of April inshallah... going to Pak in about a week's time.
I've been searching for a make up artist in the area for months now and although i haven't made my mind up as i want to visit the salon's and speak to them before finally booking, I was thinking of going with Daniella's for baraat day but ur comment about her making faces look big?? has scared me a bit, can u plz elaborate? I have quite a round face as it is so that's the last thing I would want.
Others on my list also include Sobia's and Jugnus, i also wouldn't want a male doing my makeup but apparently they have female artists who are just as good and i've seen a few brides done by their female artists who looked really good.
For my walima however, I think i quite like Moshaz they r in RWP and if u check out their facebook page it's updated almost every other day and loadsss of brides have been recommending them to me, so do check Moshaz out they're supposed to be reallly good at the flawless foundation.
When is ur wedding? Do let me know if u come across any others and once im in Pak next week and I have visited the above mentioned salons i'll update u on here :)
Go with MEE LEE Make up artist... One of my bride in islamabad get her make up done from MEE LEE.. nice though..!

yeah my valima makeover was done by daniella
she did it in 45 minutes
after makeover i was satisfied but not much happy i was lookinggood but her makeeup waas not upto mark.contouring was not good she is not good at base .eye makeup was simple.
on barat i got makover done by kami. he did very hevay makeup but i was looking very good. the negative point of his makeup is that he always does a complete makeover with heavy makeup and plus pont is his eye makeup he is brilliant in eye makeup departmnt.
so what i always regret is that why i didnt choose jugnu again for my wedding makeover. he did my engagmnt makeup n i loved it <3.. too good
so i think he is the only makeup artist in rwp/isb who does flawless makeup. stunning base n eye makeup
and yeah about moshaz
i have seen many brides by her
her base is flawless but eye makeup is just normal
but at the end you will get a reasonable and good look.
people who would like too book moshaz should book vanity for bridal makover they are better than moshaz:)
Heyy!!! I am getting married in the end of March, im going Pakistan in 2 weeks aswell :D
I know its so hard to find a make up artist when u dont live there urself! I have decided to go for Sobia's because I could not find any pictures of Jugnu's female assistants work. I will not have the time to go and do trials and also manage to do my bookings with my preffered artist. After carefull considerations I think Sobia's eye make up is very subtle but makes the eyes stand out and her lips are bright. The foundation looks okay aswell but her contouring is amazing. I think she makes you look classy and sophisticated :D
With Daniella's make up i meant that she doesn't know how to contour so when u have a heavy base of foundation your face appears bigger because you lose the natural contouring and hollows of your face. It is important to add depth to your hollows of your face and highlight where the natural sunlight would reflect from. But I feel like she isnt very good at that and my cousins face looked considerable bigger with daniellas make up compared to without.
Btw my walima will be in jhelum....do u know any artists there?

Yes you can see but only in my personal facebook account as i was unable to upload that bride's photos ( who get ready from MEE LEE ) on my public page.
