So for over a month now I’ve been planning our official wedding ceremony for next year (we had immediate family only at home marriage in may). Went over late September date with mother-in-law, got the green light, and started booking the important things: location, caterer, photographer… everything to ensure we’ll be stripped of savings and wishing we bought a house instead.
Today, almost 2 months later, sister-in-law suddenly mentions “oh wait, isn’t that date during Ramadan??”.
F K!!! FK FK FK!!
Suddenly it’s “Didn’t you think of this before??” (Duh. Obviously not.)
What do I do?? I’ll start calling all the places tomorrow and try to coordinate all the rescheduling. What horrible timing for me to choose!
