The jewellery was purchased from orega centre in Lahore. Can't remember the shops name. Might have been Hanif jewellers but can't say for sure. The shop had closed when I got there around 10pm because I had been shopping all day long. I had already seen the set on a previous occasion and after a day long of gold hunting my heart tugged to go back to that shop for that set. Everyone loved it .. so it was the right choice! They had it ready in time and I think it cost around 3K! There's the whole story behind the set for you .. lol

The reason why I ask is cuz there are so many jewelers in PK esp in Liberty and its hard to figure out who to go to. I didn't realize Orega had jewellery shops...I guess we mostly went to look for clothes there...

Sama your set was 3000 Rupees ke pounds? Its really beautiful! when i saw sets like that in anarkali they were telling me 20,000 Rs, 10-15000 RS :(

I think this is the only gold shop in orega. I initially just went there for gold shopping.
Sara, it was £3K. I paid the deposit on my debit card which to my surprise they accepted. It's so much more easier to shop in Pak now :-)

ohhhh , so it was real gold (judging by the price)? i thought so.... 3000 RS for a artificial set lke that is way too cheap.
Looking back at these pictures it only feels like yesterday when I got married and settled into my new life. Alhumdulilah it's been 1.5 yrs and Allah has really blessed me with the utmost happiness. We are now expecting our first baby. Arrival will be around the time of our second wedding anniversary; June 2009. Seems like a very long long way away!
