Hi Guys, So I’m getting married soon and this forum is helping me so much i can’t even begin to explain!
So here i am yet again, asking for more information. I’d like to know about good wedding photographers in Karachi? I checked out other threads and the information mentioned there is quite out dated. I visited a few websites/Pages and the packages they’re offering are of very limited photos for a very high price? =/ For example 40 pictures for Rs.45000 or something along those lines. I’m alright with paying 50k to 70k for photography a day however I’d at least like the option of “as many pictures as you want”?
I don’t want a professional photographer who charges super much for just a few pictures. I’d rather have someone take loads of “acceptable” pictures. I’m also okay with some student taking the pictures as long as they have a DSLR and the pictures are not blurry or weird lol (Like pictures of the carpets or empty tables etc)
I'm here again too ;). Anyways nobody can you give an option of unlimited pictures even you pay them 100k because they've to cover their cost too yeah but they can give a good amount of pics if you find a reasonable one. I know one guy and will PM his contact # soon so you can speak to him and he's reasonable too and tell what do you want and ask for sample pics and if you like his work then well n good.
You really don’t want a student or amateur to take your wedding photos. They’ll be subpar and/or you won’t get the files in the right format or at all. I’ve heard wayyyy too many horror stories. Your photos are your memories from the day- don’t cheap out. Suck it up and compromise your budget elsewhere or you’ll be here a few weeks post-wedding crying about how your photographer didn’t get any good shots.
Don’t tell me? I would die laughing because till now I was considering a you a guy because girls usually don’t inquire about all these things on their weddings like cars, venue. I’m still laughing.
Oh WOW! Hahahaha! No actually my Mr. Right has his own events to worry about and I’ve got my end of the work cut out for me -__-
As you must’ve noticed I’m very precise about things, hence Mr. Right suggested that I tell him whatever that needs to be done exactly my way when he Visits Pak so i have no complaints
What usually happens in our weddings or at least what I've seen is the bride just look after her stuff like dresses, makeup etc and rest of the work like choosing venue, food etc is the man's job. Anyways I PM you, hope you would've got it. Waise, I deserve an invitation for my hard work. ;) Just joking, hope you've wonderful wedding and wish you a happy married life in advance. TC
Yeah the “men” do look after the venue, food and stuff cause they know it’s going to be the same as every other wedding; a Shaadi hall, biryani and korma for food, 11 baje khana, 1 baje rukhsati etc etc I want none of that, hence everything has to be done exactly the way I say it

You're welcome. If you want some help in food department then just let me know because I know a very good caterer. My father is a big foodie and whoever gets married in family, relatives and friends comes to him when it comes to catering and food is the only part that people remembers.
I know a guy who covered two of our events on different occassions and did a terrific job. He is very professional and will all thoses white big lenses and pro stuff but not at all proud and stiff. We felt like inviting a family member when he was around. We paid somewhere around 40 for a day and we received 400 slightly larger prints, and a big album and an enlargement.
