How much should one pay for a wedding photographer?
I live in the Houston area and i have no clue how much wedding photographers/videographers charge.
Please give me some ideas…
I will be getting married probably in June 2011 and would like the photographer/videographer to capture the mayoon, mehendi, nikkah & reception, and walima (a total of 4 days) … any ideas, suggestions, tips, etc would really help

They have bettet package deals for multiple days. But you're looking at about 6k

For about 4 functions I would say $4000-$6000 but usually booking them early they might be able to give you some sort of discounts. I know MirAnwar shoots a lot in Houston and New York and he is fairly reasonable; we hired him and hopefully it goes well. You must shop for them though because so many choices and different styles.
