He gave u the honest reason for y he changed his rates, so yeah he admitted ppl were willing to pay more , and becuz of competition. big deal. he told u the truth , ppl here rnt used to that , we just like hearing the same line which every1 says from beggars to any service providers k mehngayi itni hogaye hay hum kiya karey , ap yakeen karey huamara tu profit hi nahi banta. It is a free country and i think every1 is able to decide what price point is just and reasonable. Plus this isn'ta hobby , it's his career and he has a family. Which one us would sacrifice our pay etc for the common good over supporting our family in the best way ?
so he's decided to go for a niche market rather than the masses , whats wrong with that ?
Desginer dresses any1? LOl . Even thE copycatsof desginer dresses are at ridiciulous PRICES, why not stop everything and every1 ?some of us might miss out on being able to hire him but that shouldn't make us haters!!!! It takes guts and determination to switch career paths and he's done it brilliantly, so kudos to Irfan Ahson for that.
P.s Karios : if u didnt already know this but i admire ur honest replies , plz don't listen to what som1 posted abt not writing the reasons for increased charges .Just answer openly n honestly ,its way betr than the usual sympathy feeds i hear. Plus it makes u genuine rather than aloof, which is so easy once u get a lil acknowledgement and very common here!!!!

i absolutely adore irfan ahson`s work but irfan you really need to be down to earth. i hav always found your comments rude on your fb pages. it doesnt matter what r u charging, i know thats your right!! every single professional in pakistan is doing the same but only those are successful who are polite and accept critism of EVERY type!

Best way is ask the brides/girls what made them think u were being aloof. Technology has made life easier but alot depends on the tone **of how you're **client hears it.Meaning how they interpret what you said, it's not always hat you said that could be the problem.
Maybe you were being direct and to the point and they found it curt/rude?. I don't know how the conversations go , but here's the thing with people who are mostly at the top of their field: They have a chip on their shoulder and the have an attitude.From architects,desginers, decorators,MUA's anyone and everyone who has achieved something in their field.Their success maybe due to all their hard work but that is not a right of passage to arrogance. So maybe people go in expecting that from you and any discrepancy is mistaken for arrogance?.
