I don’t watch Indian or Pakistani movies. :frowning:

I can’t seem to find any nice pictures of Shararay (sp) or whatever it is they are called. I either want a sharara or a fishtail, lengay aren’t in and all my cousins are wearing sari’s, i need to look different. Weddings in the family are such a hassle!

Do a search on fishtail lehngas. I know for sure someone put them up before.

Sahar_02, mentioned her fishtail being a "delhi cut" what does that mean? less fabric at the bottom?

Most of them are really nice in that thread, but nothing really stands out, they are all either too much embriodary wise or too much fabric at the bottom. I am slighty fussy.

Since you are in to simple stuff something like the following two would look great in fishtail lehngas

I like the first one I posted a lot. I doubt much ppl will be wearing anything like that. EVen your black outfit. Get it made in this greenand pink combo u put up. It will look great. I personally don;t get lehngas cos I feel odd wearing them unless its a family affair.

miss mohabbat u need to get copy of asiana magazine, theres loads of pics of saris & shalwar kameez in there. if u live anywhere near green street then visit henna/mehdi on green street they got some lovely shalwar kameez, also jabeen nasir of rang collection has some beautiful outfits. try reshma's website as well.

Can someone provide me an example of a "khari shalwar" - I think its the type of shalwar that has less material and are not as wide at the bottom. It's the kind of shalwar that would look really good if it was made in "khatan silk" material. I can't find it anywhere, and really need a picture!

Ewww^^ More practical...yes, but I don't like shalwar qameez or stupid pishwaas's on brides.

Its one of those long dresses usually worn with churidaar pajaamas full of chamak dhamak work.

Marriage...the right way?!
