Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

Hello,

Here comes the awkward question: What do you wear on your wedding night?? Especially if you don’t know what will happen? (I feel awkward bringing it up with my fiance). Are you just supposed to buy really nice lingerie for under your wedding dress, then change into pajamas/night gown or something much more “hotter”? I am sure everyone has different experiences, and I would love any suggestions coming my way from all of you.

Please help me out!! I’m really confused.

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

well it depends on what you want. you can wear something 'sexy' initially but when you sleep, you want to wear something comfortable like pajamas.

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

For under your wedding dress don’t buy anything “sexy”. Wear something that will make your dress and you look good, as well as keep you comfortable. After all you’ll be in a 5-10 kg dress for the better part of the day.

Here’s a kind of an old thread, asking the same question  http://www.paklinks.com/gs/wedding/487030-some-private-ladies-question-for-the-wedding.html

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

I wanted to get something like this , but can’t find it anywhere in karachi or online .
I am just too petite for anything which would kind of enhance the upper torso so this seems to be much appropriate to me . Can anyone suggest where to find these , or may be get it stitched if possible .

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

and yes Blueberry I think it really depends on you . Whatever you are comfortable with, you should go for it . and then you know him better . So you should know what he would be expecting may be .

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

I think I would probably just change into something and not necessarily wear it throughout the wedding (may be uncomfortable and not provide me the support I need?!)

Re: Wedding Night Outfit/Lingerie

Yes, please wear proper foundation garments under your dress! It can make or break your silhouette and you don't want to look slouchy or have weird bumps or love handles sticking out. When you get back to your hotel room, that's when you can change into something more appropriate like the baby doll you posted or maybe even silk Pajamas. Truthfully, you'll be so tired that night- as will your fiancé- that you'll probably just want to talk and sleep :p
