I don’t agree with changing one’s maiden name at all as its one’s identity. The last name is an indication of the father of the person and represents the person’s lineage. Since there is no blood relationship between the husband and wife, it is better not to take his last name as if she is part of the same lineage.

May Allah keep every husband and wife happy but what happens if she gets divorced, or her husband dies, and she marries another man? Will she keep changing her name every time she marries another man? To me, it makes no sense at all.

Even i’ve thought about it,God forbid is something happens, what is that person suppose to do. May Allah Tallah bless our husband’s with Long healthy life Ameen!
