Re: wedding lipstick - all brides! what color did you wear or are planning to wear?
^ Ramzah me too!! I'm not a fan of smokey eyes - they look horrible on me unfortunately; and yes I've had a professional do them for my mangni, and NEVER again :( But smokey eyes look so amazing on some brides that I've seen, wish I could pull it off, oh well sigh
I'm going for a very fresh look. Light cherry lips, eye-liner, neutral eye-shadow and light blush shades - lets see how it goes!
my "smokey" eyes were done up in gold and army green and they looked fab in that i got the glam look without looking like a raccoon. remember, smokey doesn't have to mean black or grey on the lids, you can achieve the same look with golds, bronzes, coppers or a mix.
you know what, you should head over into fashion & beauty and go through the Eye Makeup thread. @marwah is a** fantastic** makeup artist and i'm sure she's either done the look, or she'll be able to help you out with it.

If you are doing your own makeup, why dont you just mix your own lipstick? its easy, 1 golden, 1 red, then mix! or apply a bit of gold on top of a red to add a subtle sheen. I'm going for light pink lips as I dont suit heavy makeup and my lips are too small to carry any heavy colour :(

Wearing Red is ofcourse regal like anything else, BUT i recently observed that there’s a very good trick to understand whether red lips gonna suit u or a disaster to regret at.
Red Lips look good on pouty, broad or well defined lips, such as below
Whereas, ladies with thin lips or workable lips should avoid wearing red color.
