A light baby pink chiffon lengha, with sea green satin lining on the border of the duputta and the bottom border of the lengha. I want the kaam on the lengha to be heavy and look like this below. The exact same thing silver and green kaam.
^^^ I also want the arms (short sleeves) to have this kaam. And i want the rest of the lengha to have these little glittery pieces all over it, and the kameez to have that sorta design on the top part, and the little glittery pieces going down.
I want the dupatta lining to look exactly like this (the green satin part)
And i want the lengha to be a typical, lengha . Top not too short not too long just up to my hips, and a traditional bridal lengha bottom.

what is the likleyhood for darzis in Islamabad or Rawalpindi to mess it up if i provide this discreption and pictures.

what i would suggest is also visiting the darzi's with exact color swatches and/or fabric that you want so they don't use their own interpretation of pink and sea green.

awww that makes me feel better thanks. The only problem is Im not going to be there, my aunts are going to get it made. :/
but im not gonna be there to make sure.... what if they do something on their own, and the person getting it thinks its fine and i see it when they bring it back to usa and i hate it....
... im worried because stuff like that happens to me way to much.
Desi, ur best bet is to ask you aunts to go with good resolution colored px of these dresses and then ask the kaam walas (not the darzi's) to make things according to that. The only downside to this is that generally when you get your work custom made:
1) You can't be sure if the kaam you chose will look as good in the color combo's u chose.
2) The kaam wala's charge you more for more customizations because then they have to make special prints and wht not.
Desi, the green piping, which you call green satin part, is actually a strip of jamavar fabric, commonly used by designers to hide the backside of the embroidery on the dupatta borders. If you are going to order something and you want to explain the designer/tailor etc. you might as well want to call it Jamawar, since that would be more specific.
In the green pic above it looks like goeta and sheesha and maybe sequin work but if you want it for a bridal dress then ur better off using other kind of work that gives off the similar sparkly type of look.
If you want the sparkly kaam on it then ask specifically for kundan and rhinestone (i think they call it diamatee's in pakistani) work with green beads (cut-dana work). I'm sure ur aunts will know exactly what it's called.
Usually the kaarigar do a good job if u have a good description. Just say u want the above work to be put on the lehenga and you want it to be pink with a green jamavaar material on the inside border of the dupatta. Show them pictures of the specific colors u want used.
Send all these details to your aunt and tell her to find a tailor who understands. I think it would be better if you find a home based designer rather than a kaam wala but that is your choice. If you do that, your aunt doesn't have to go looking for fabric and stuff and still supervise concentrating on your details.
If you have time, you can get a light kameez made with the same fabric, kaam on the gala and piping so that you are absolutely sure that the person making it understands your choice.

That's a very Indian lehnga and is on sale, too. Why don't you ask the website people whether they can make it for you with the changes you want?

Yup, now I can also say that you seem to like clothes with indian kaam. Both of the dresses you chose (the blue Kareen one) are Indian and you chose them out of loads of other very popular wedding dresses that were put up.
Anyways, many times Indian kaam depicts their religious symbols in their clothes and jewellery. As most of them are alien to us, we can't pick them out. This is not to scare you or put down anyone but I do feel this.

Indian kaam is verydifferent than Pakistani style kaam, alot of ppl associate Indian = not nice looking. (which I think is wrong IMO).
