Was just wondering whether there is still fashion of wearing nuth and jhumer or do brides just wear tikkas?

Have no idea of what is in fashion.

Does it matter whats in fashion? Wear what looks good on you. However, if your outfit is somewhat simple, not too much heavy kam then I would wear just the tikka and light jewelry, not a nath and jhmmmar.

i want to wear a nuth but mum refuses to buy me anything that im not gonna wear again... :( I think jhumars are back in fashion farah... ive seen some really funky ones

I think the nuth is what diffrentiates the bride from all the bride-wannabes.

no sara, you don't need to. my friend recently got married, during december, and she had a nath one. she just strung the nath around this..i don't know what it is called, but i am going to call it a nose clip, and you just tighten it with a tiny screw, so it's comfortable. so it still looks like you're wearing a nath, but without the nose piercing.

and for the question, i know jhoomars are really in. nath is more like an option. but if you do wear it, it is not odd. i think they are more like a wire of gold, nothing fancy.

id really like to waer one… one of the reasons why i got my nose pierced when i was younger :blush:

All the models in the pictures above look really nice with the nuth, so I think I will get one. They really do distinguish the bride from the others. I dont have a pierced nose, but I have heard about the clip or screw on ones.

My lengha is quite light there is no gold on it, it just has beads the same colour as the lengha on it.

I think If u want a tradtional look then nose ring (nath ) is a must ..also jumohar ..

i have always hated nuth but i am strating to like it now n my mom wants me to wear it so i dont know..it depends on him :D

getting nose pierced doesnt hurt at all.
