Does any one have any good designs of wedding jewellery, like necklace, earings, naath, jumbar etc. I’m not sure if I should buy all my gold from Pakistan, UK or Dubai. Do you think 2.5 lakhs is enough for a big set, 8 bangles, 2 kare etc..or is it too little??

don't estimate the price before u buy the jewerly, there r 2 websites of indian jewerly www.samanjewelers.com and the other is www.goldpalace.com may be u find some designs here

IMO your jewelery is your jewelery...get what you love so buy it where you can pick it.
2nd. my mother in law (who knows gold) says that Dubai and Pakistan gold prices are the same...Dubai just has some more non desi designs there and more stones, diamonds.
As for bangles and kara, It depends on how big/how much gold is your bangles etc.
My mom always said don't get bangles less than 1.25 thola i think about 13.5 grams...as for kara she said the same.. 2-2.5 thola so using that idea you can ge a general base for your gold costs...and then everything is the "making" and stones...

We have always bought gold in the middle east : Its supposed to be much better quality avalible in Pakistan and they also put less copper or whatever the other material is to dilute it.
I am not sure about the prices but i recently got my gold jewelery from Bahrain :
8 choorian for 10 tola total
2 karas for 5 tolas
2 medium sets of 7+6 tolas
We gave our own 24 Carat gold and got our designs made.
