I’m from Scotland looking for elegant but simple wedding invitations. I have read a couple of threads on this topic but was wondering if anyone could please help? I have seen cards from Parekh cards and Regal cards which I like but I am not sure what the quality of their work is like. Has anyone used them before?
My brother got married last year and we ordered some invitations from a company in Pakistan and once they arrived, fully paid for, they were a complete disaster and so this has now made me a little wary of ordering from Pakistan and India.
Was wanting to get a wedding cards for my sisters wedding. the dilemma i had was that i didnt know if wedding cards are “in fashion” kind of thing in pakistan.
nevertheless i have seen this website which looks really good.
I have also found a website based in Bradford, http://orientpress.co.uk/
You have to be careful with ordering from Pakistan, after what happened to my brother I am really reluctant to go down that road. The website that they had was fantastic but when we received the cards, it was done on the material people use to put at the bottom of their salwars and the writing was done in gold glitter pen which meant that the majority of it was falling part. That was money down the drain as we had to re-order cards from somewhere in UK. I am looking for something more ethnic and with some islamic relation.
sorry for the confusion,
my understanding was that your going to pakistan for a wedding.
i could have told you about orient press as theyr based in my home town in bradford, and they are based on canal road. they are very good and the servcie they offer is simply great.

In what way a disaster?
Our family was wary of ordering from abroad but after getting a sample my brother ordered some gorgeous ones from India at a fraction of the cost he would have paid here and the card/paper was beautiful quality, not cheap tat, with no spelling mistakes etc.. I can't remember the name of the company but we were all pleasantly surprised :)
I would strongly recommend Parekh cards. I ordered some samples first, then placed my order. They were soooo professional. I ordered cards, RSVP, personalised paper and some personalised bags. All their cards have a certain elegance. I am fro the uk, I wasn’t that impressed with Orient I felt Parekh was a higher quality.
I used Print mater in Karachi and they were an absolute pleasure to work with, it was exactly like the below and made by the same people who made the cards in the below link:
I was order my wedding cards from 123 wedding cards and there designs and price both are quite attractive. This splendid wedding invitation site also provide many other wedding paper related items. You can also try them.
