Do they give out invitation cards or is it mostly word of mouth? Does it depend on where you are located? Village or City?

1) In the city…you send beautamous cards.
2) In the pind…you do it via the telephone game (whisper in one paindu’s here…who whispers into the next paindu’s ear)…etc 
3) And if you don’t like the person…just send em a memo. I hear them post-it notes are pretty classy. But if you live in the village…a thumb print on paan leaf will do jus fine!
*******If you’re adventurous like me…you mentally assign a guest a number…then you cast the dice. If the dotted cube lands on the number you thought of…guest is invited. If cube does not land on number you had in mind…guest is not invited…boo hoo, 
. Not only is this method more fun…it eliminates the problem of a huge guest list…and if guests give you any trouble you simply point to the dice as the culprit. Yup, blame it on chance and probability.

village.....send someone round with the invitation...they have a special person to do that...
cities....usually wedding cards.....
