1)I heard that you can have the nikkah at home if you pay extra and you will not need to go to Dubai Courts. Is this true? and who can I talk to about this?

Re: WEDDING IN DUBAI..A FEW QUESTIONS…PLEASE HELP :)!!!
Hello
From what I know, you can NOT have a Nikkah outside of the courts in Dubai. And even at the court: both spouses must be UAE residents, have copies of passports, pictures and other documentation and the wife must have a guardian to give her away. You can call Islamic Courts, Dubai - Marriage Department Officials from the numbers given on this link Dubai Courts :: e-Services Portal
Photographers - WSSA photographers are really good (specially Rizwan) they make you very comfortable and excellent results. They can be contacted on 050 - 429 - 4988. However, book early with them as they rarely have dates available at short notice.
You can check out their facebook page on https://www.facebook.com/pages/WSSA-Photo-Wedding/151245088223468
PhotoBooth - I know you didn’t ask for this information but they can be a fun addition to the photography of a wedding. There is this company Photo Booth Dubai and I didn’t see anything too wildly impressive on their facebook page but I’ve heard that they are super accommodating and willing to work with your instructions.
Check them out on facebook Facebook
Decorators - There is this company Wedding Bells that is relatively new but look promising and are very Pakistani plus Young! You can contact them on 050 - 718 - 2029
You can check them out on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wedding-Bells/376951575666707
DJ, Henna Lady - Sorry, can’t help with these ones.
You can PM me if you need any information on venues, caterers, make up artists, boutiques, et cetera.
Good Luck - Don’t be stressed out! Dubai is a lovely place to get married: gorgeous venues, generally wonderful vendors and of course, you have friends and family flying in so it’ll be perfect! =)
