i’m going on a Hindu wedding to Delhi in February so somebody please guide me for few things:

  1. how many functions are there on a Hindu wedding?

  2. what kind of clothes should i carry? (i mean what material and what kind of work on it)

  3. what gifts should i take for the hindu friends? im crazy about sarees and chunari dresses of Jaipur so whenever they come they bring these tings for me. i’m going for the first time so what special thing should i take frm Pakistan?

  4. i want to take something unique for the bride too. like something for her mehndi or haldee that she could wear on her function so please suggest me what should i take? like what kind of jewellery or dresses?

In India they like Pakistani Lawn - (the good stuff as even cheap Indian cotton is very good quality)

They have as many or as few functions as we do so check the card!! Depends on the individual family but basics are a sangeet, Mehndi, Wedding and separate reception so minimum 4 outfits. All reasonably heavy.

Wear what you would wear in Pakistan to these functions. In India emphasis is on heavy saris for the bigger events but like anywhere no hard and fast rule

Cant think of any other gifts!
