I live in the US and have a bunch of family here. Going to have a big dholki/wedding shower here and friends and relatives are going to attend from across the states and canada.
Then I go to London.
Then I go to Pakistan and have a wedding there with all the bells and whistles.
Then I go to UAE (Abu Dhabi) and have a reception there.
Thing is, I know of places and all everywhere else except Abu Dhabi. I need some help in deciding where to go for my makeup for the reception there…what parlor etc.
Can someone suggest some really good ones? Websites would be awesome so I can view portfolios. I will only be stopping in Abu Dhabi for less than a week so there’s no time for me to research on my own thus no room for error.
Need help!
lol. I'm counting on it being fun but I'll probably be dead tired by the time we get back! I will return in January from my travels around the globe:p lol.. We plan on going to Paris in the summer for our honeymoon... It'll give me a chance to polish up my french! Oui!
wow..all this..is ur husband a doctor or engineer or something?..:)
Haha.. My fiancé's a system analyst with degrees in both business and engineering. His dad's a banker. lol
Funny thing is, he didn't even have a job when I first met him... :D
Btw just a suggestion to you, there are better saloons in Dubai and it takes roughly 1 hours 20 minutes to come to Dubai from Abu Dhahbhi, why do not you come to Allure in Dubai and get your make up etc done from here? It is on sheikh zayed road and you do not have to go into inner city and straight sheikh zayed road leads to AUH too...

well its just a thought :)
That's an excellent idea! I think I'll do that. In fact, I'm sure...Do they have a website?
I agree with Aisha, Dubai def has better parlours etc.. I recommend Tani @ Depilex (the website has horrible pics, but Tani's work is really nice) Saw Faeza Dawood (ARY) wedding/valima pictures too..and Tani's really good!

wow, thats' awesome!
If you dont' mind me asking, is there a reason that you're having wedding festivities in so many places? It's cool if it's personal...I just really like the idea but I was wondering if like you just wanted to have like an international wedding or something.
:)

Oh no, not all, I would love to share :)
Ok.. lets see.. My family and I live in the US. Although the majority of us are on the east coast, I have some close relatives on the west coast as well as the mid west. Most of them can make it to the wedding in Pakistan but I have several that wont be able to. Plus I have tons of friends from school and work. Thus the Dholki/wedding shower here. Ps: Friends are dying to throw me a bachelorette party:p
Then I have family in London who want to do a small function when I stop over in London on my way to Pakistan. Can't say no to them! :p
Then I fly to Pakistan where the wedding will be held.
My Fiance lives here in the states but his parents are settled in Abu Dhabi. He has all his friends there too but the rest of his family is in Pakistan. So after Pakistan, we'll fly to Dubai for a reception to accommodate all his friends etc.
Then we'll fly back to the US to our new place and start a crazy life! haha.. Since we;ll be tired from all this, we're going to go on a small honeymoon somewhere closer to home but fly to Paris the following summer since we plan to touch every continent at least once! haha..
