well, i realise why it's considered a 'diet'.
you know how many calories a subway is and if that's the only properly calorie containing thing you eat all you day (the rest being fruit and veg), you know the exact amount of calories you're eating. so if a foot long subway is 900calories, it's an easy way to know you're not exceeding that and keeping well below the recommend daily amount and therefore will loose weight.
you can apply the same principle to anything you eat and just eat 1000calories per day or less. yes it requires some calorie counting and therefore not as easy but at least you have a varied diet and not eating something that is junk and 12" of procesed white flour.

yes junk food ur ryte but tell me do u eat healthy all the time? iu bet not and like i said before subway was only for the first two weeks,,,,after that its been pretty much everything

true thats true thats ...bvut i dont thikn subway hurts you if you only do it for a short period of time....
the key to dieting really is to develop a few principles and not depriving yourself of anything....which is what i did after the first two weeks

If you want to get lean quickly, you'll have to adopt more extreme ways which may be a little tough but are a sure result boosters :
Breakfast : 1 non-fat milk tea along with a single piece of brown bread.
Lunch : Just before meal, take a glass full of room temperature water (even if you are not thirsty). 1 roti / half plate rice with dal or any other cereal. 1 piece of fruit.
Evening : 1 non-fat milk tea without any snacks.
Dinner : Just before meal, take a glass full of room temperature water (even if you are not thirsty). 1 roti / half plate rice with dal or any other cereal.
Kick :
1. All those fried stuffs
2. All those fatty foods
3. All those butter items
4. All those fast foods
5. All those sandwiches
6. All those soft drinks
....till your marriage.
Perform a 20 minutes non-stop cardiovascular workout every morning empty stomach like rope jumping, cycling, jogging. From non-stop I mean, you can not take rest while doing exersice for more than 45 seconds.
Perform this everyday and your are sure to see the weighing scale showing atleast 15+ pounds less in a month.
Please remember : most of the people are willing to start but very few are willing to continue till the end.
