Wedding Halls in Toronto (GTA)

Does anyone have pricing information or any recommendations on wedding halls in Toronto. thanks!

we had our mehendi at maple banquet hall (www.maplebanquet.ca) in mississauga and honestly, the food was SDOOOO good! we got their gold menu at $23 a head and we had so much food for that. our stage decorator was mridu verma- i can give you her info if you want. she did a really good job for us- if you check out my mehendi pics, you can somewhat see it. when i get all of the official pics, i’ll put them up so you can see it better.

thanks SGC for the links, i will look into them..your mehndi pics were great! the hall looks very nice from the pics and pricing for meals is good too, was it desi food b/c the site is showing different menus/pricing. thanks :)

redrose, torbram, candles, maple as already mentioned, all these are neat..

hwy 27 and woodbine area, i THINK they’re called woodbine banquet halls.. those are nice too..

again, as SGchick said $23 for gold menu, u gotta check out the prices of food too.. one hall: golden or gold or something with gold in the name, went when my cousin was getting married.. food was good.. hall was crap… lighting was crap, whole atmosphere seemed to be .. “ewww, tacky, ye kahan aa gaye ham” type..

stage was nicely done.. but im sure HALL ITSELF didnt had anything to do with that :slight_smile:

for a cheaper option you can try Chauhans my sister got married there we had both her valima and baraat there . the food was absolutely fantastic and they have a dance floor and everything.

we had first booked woodbine but then cancelled on d last minute due to some reasons.

yup, its desi food and you can go for a tasting prior to the event which is what we did. the owner is a pakistani guy and the administrator is this super nice hungarian lady. both of them are open to negotiate from what i've experienced and know. of course, our wedding venue was pretty damn awesome too :) www.parkwoodestate.com and not as pricy as you'd imagine it to be! the only thing of course is, it has to be summertime as they do outdoor weddings.

I just went to a wedding this weekend and I have to say it was one of the most amazing shadi ever attended in Toronto/Canada, so far. Everything was so well done and I couldnt really think of a single thing that I would have changed.
Mehndi took place somewhere in DonMills area but I liked the decorations and all.

I cant remember the name of the hall for the Barat day rite now but can look it up if any one wants to know. It was an Italian place and had excellent exterior (and ofcourse interior).

However, the Waleema took place at Red Rose (someone mentioned above) and it was pretty good. I'm not too sure if they are relatively newer cuz considering it was a desi hall, they have maintained it pretty well.

chandni redroses maple are all decent halls.. next summer will start to get booked really really fast.. i will suggest u advice that someone to act fast :-)

i know im a little late for this thread but another spot i was looking at was the raddison in mississuaga
I cant post the link but its call the Grand Victorian Ballroom
BEAUTIFUL! ...a little pricey tho :(
