What products and ornaments do you use to get ready to attend a close wedding? Please suggest brands as well!

I haven't been to a wedding in ages :(. Someone please invite me. I attended a couple of mehendis, couldn't go for the wedding. But for the mehendi, I wore a nice anarkali outfit with big jhumkay and bangles. No necklace as there was lots of kaam on the neckline. Makeup, I used a basic sheer liquid foundation, some eye colors and eyeliner from MAC, mascara from lancome, blush from clinique and lip color from MAC.

my go-to's are usually my mac face powder, eye shadow and liner from mac - although i have one sephora brand palette which i LOVE and use all the time too depending on the color of the outfit i wear, and my mac lippy.
i'm not a huge fan of chooriyan so i usually put on one kara or a couple of bracelets, my engagement ring/wedding band, i adore earrings so i tend to make them my focal point, and i don't really like necklaces either so i usually keep on my one thin white gold chain. unless i end up wearing one of my mom's or nani's sets than its the necklace and earrings that pair together that i'll put on, but usually i prefer larger earrings and no necklace.
oh, and i always get a blow out. i love blow outs! they're my one indulgence that i have nooo issues spending $$ on!

I attended my sister's wedding about 10 mths ago.I splurged and got my hair and make up done on all days...
I wore earrings and a matching necklace(not something big) for the mehndi with some kaanch ki chooriyan and 2-3 rings (I always wear them ).It was a shalwar kameez with some gota work on the shirt and dupaataa. I had my hair straightened that day.
For barat I wore again smaller earrings and a smaller necklace with the same rings and a small bracelet.It was again a shalwar kameez with scattered work on the entire shirt and almost plain dupatta.the hair were backcombed and pinned up and had tight curls.
For Walima I wore a saree,no necklace,big earrings and my rings and a medium sized bracelet.The hair were again back combed and pinned up, but side swept with very loose curls (which almost never stayed till the end of the event...:()

What kind of make-up do you ladies use on occasions like these?
My normal make-up is Bare Minerals. Wondering if I should step it up. Any recommendations?

For weddings i always wear a lot of makeup. I use a makeup forever hd foundation dior mascara mac eyeliner dark eyes with nude lips and a light blush. The hair is usually simple either straight or loose curls. Jewelry is usually just earings a braclet paired with a nice clutch.
