My friend is getting married sooo what can I give him as a gift?? Well I am guessing he is a Catholic since he will be exchanging the marriage vows with his to-be wife in a Catholic church.
Thanku!
Do I really have to give him as a gift?!
I came to know that there would be food after they are done with the church thing so I think it would really look bad that I show up without a gift!
Assuming you are living in the west and your friend is white, there would normally be a list of wedding gifts. All invited guests buy one item from the list (it is better to get in there first so that you can pick a cheap present!!). The list is normally kept with the bride & groom but these days, a large departmental store may also hold the list for them. Ask your friend about the list and he will tell you what the crack is.
thanx for the reply. well i had heard about the list but wasn't sure. it turns out that my friend and his to-be bride are registered at a couple of places.
is it a good idea to have the gift mailed to them directly or have it delivered to urself and then present it on their big day?
after giving it a lot of thought :D i guess it would be better to have it mailed directly to them. i might take a g card along with me. i would like to see how he reacts when i say :sorry dude no gift: !!!! :-D
