Wedding Experience in Pakistan

Salaam Everyone,
Everyone here has been really helpful with ideas for my sister’s wedding which took place in Lahore during June. I think it’s only fair if I write back some of my experiences.

  1. Both day wedding outfits were from Libas-E-Khas. The outfits turned out great, but the customer service sucked. My sister told them she wanted her shirt long but they kept it short, then they promised her by the wedding time they will fix it. We went back 3 days before wedding to pick it up and they didn’t do anything, it was the same shirt. They made a lot of mistakes and overcharged us because they knew we were from the States.

  2. She got her jewelry from Liberty Market, they have really good jewelers there, I would recommend checking it out.

  3. My sister got some dresses made from Think Pink. Their outfits were really cute yet reasonable prices. They also tailor the clothes really well.

  4. She got her make up done from New Look. It’s an all female run parlor, which worked out well because we both cover. The make up turned out amazing. I highly recommend it. They charged her 60,000 Rupees for each day. For party make up, which I got they charged 7,000 Rupees. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The manager kept making rounds to see if we were comfortable and satisfied. I would definitely go back to them again.

Hope this was helpful

Re: Wedding Experience in Pakistan

thanks...who did the makeup was it a junior artist or senior....60 000 per day seems a bit too much...
which halls did u choose/.

Re: Wedding Experience in Pakistan

A senior artist did the make up, I forgot her name but she was really good. yea the price seems a little high but we probably got screwed over. the wedding was at some resort, I forgot the name, it was outdoor.

Re: Wedding Experience in Pakistan

60,000

Are you serious ! ?

Re: Wedding Experience in Pakistan

yea but that also included all the pre-wedding services as well such as facials, full body wax. full body massage, mani/pedi, threading, etc.
