thanks for ur reply mahismart, but these guys don't seem desi at all, even if they can play desi music, i still would want a desi dj just cause its easier this way and desi dj know wut to play when. If i hire a non-desi dj then i've to do most of the work to tell them wut to play when

any one else?

Jitten is really good. My friend's sister had him at her wedding. He was awesome!! We couldn't get him cuz he was booked. We got the DJ and Videographer package. The DJ turned out to be as good as jitten. Sorry Don't remember the name of the DJ, but if you can get Jitten, go with him.

I am also looking for a dj for my wedding. I am considering Max DJ, let me know if anybody has used them and what is their experience?

DJ Lune is quite expensive for some wedding background music.

if ur on a budget..why not make cds yourself (use a good program like Nero to make non stop music cds, and with songs that cross-fade into the next), and rent a good sound system.

therefore u get the songs that U WANT and save some cash.

usually the men just dance at weddings, and the women watch and poke fun of their skills at the same time....lol...but they only dance to punjabi/bhangra..the dj we hired kept on playing hindi dancing songs (eg. bole chudiyaan) .lol..i had to tell the dude to cut to the next song each time..lol.

i made cds for the mehndi..and it was 10x better!

Hi Girls..

Could someone suggest a DJ for just the mehndi night in Toronto! I'm really hoping to not spend a lot for just one night. Maybe someone new to the business?? :S Its worth a shot...

it would be cheaper making and mixing ur own cds and renting out a sound system. Thats what I did for my brother's mehndi.
