I think the reason could be:

  1. Tradition .. specially pakistani traditions are weird..
  2. This is the month where one should pray a lot to Allah for forgiveness so i think arranging a wedding in this month might be counter productive. Rather, have the family meet on iftar and go to prayers together and get to know each other during this month and then have wedding on the eid day!!! :)

becoz these monthz r really religious and full of blessingz so if in weddingz therez different kindz of amusmentz like music and everything so itz gunah and not right :hypo:
