I am really new to this forum and desperatly need help. I am soon to get married and looking for my wedding dress. I have tried getting quotes from here (uk) and looks like the best one is going to cost me near £1500 and i am really not ready to pay this much. I am thinking of getting it made from pakistan but wants to know the estimate price. If any one knows any good contacts for bridal wear in pakistan or inda, please post it to me.
i got my lehnga from pakistan & after haggling i managed to get it down from £900 to £500- this was from think pink in lahore...i would say get it from pakistam, the work is amazing (u cant find this stuff in UK- trust me i checked out daminis, ranis everywhere)
go to Mongas..they have a good reduction on at the moment..I chose one which was for 2500...but haggled it down to 2k...but they do have lenghe for about 500-1000 which r very nice..depends wt u want...
ha ha! i can't wait to go again when its my sisters wedding! Just trying to find her a man, i'm lucky that a place in manchester sells clothes by HSY, Nickie Nina, Maria B, Sumblime by Sara etc, although at a higher price its there if i get desperate! Its the only place in the UK that sells pakistani clothes, mind you i went there last week to see Maria B's new formal collection and kindly they gave me a discount without asking! Will be wearing a few in the coming months as we have loads of weddings! My husband still says, who the heck are these designers! lol
