Aa my fellow guppies. I was having a conversation earlier with a friend about the cost of weddings etc etc. She’ s getting married next year and is confused about her wedding dress, hence our conversation. I’ve been married a long time and have no Idea about the current cost of bridals so I thought I’d ask for some opinions on here. Shes not interested in getting a designer outfit and has a budget of around 700 pound, roughly 1.15 lakh rs. Is a bridal doable in this price or should she up her budget??? Can a bridal be made in this sort of money? Thanks in advance

i was interested in all the designer pieces and even the replicas. however, no quire was less than £2000.my budget was initially £1509.

however,one day, while shopping for my jahez heavy suits..i found a very heavy long trail shirt with a lengha. it waa on sale for 475 and was without sleeves and dupatta. i asked to add sleeves and bridal dupatta and it came up to 770. i bought it the same day.

it.might nit be my ideal dress..but it is very similar..and for the price i paid...i am soo glad.

your friend should look into heavy formal long kameez or lengha and add bridal dupatta.

Wow Paris, that is fantastic. Are there any shops you could recommend here in the uk plz? friend is getting married in jehlum but knows nothing about the shops there. She doesn't really want to get her relatives involved as their taste is completely different to hers but i dont know if I'm being optimistic but i think she should b able to find something. Thanks for responding

That price is good for most of the bridal dresses with minor alterations

mine was really a lucky pick. the sane dress without dupatta is now for £1500.

but i would advice she order a very heavy dress from pakistan..it will cost £700

yep, prices varies with the type of kaam/style etc etc

£700 is doable.. I've seen nice stuff in London for that price..
