Wedding Dress by Zainab Sajid (PFW London 2012) - Need advice!

I’m planning to get this dress for my baraat. In red and purple. But the velvet patch in dark purple looked so dark it almost gave the impression of black.

How would a relatively light purple/magenta look for the velvet patches?

Also, i REALLY need more pictures of this dress! I cant find ANY on the net!!

magenta and red is also a great combo...so a lighter purple would look nice too
