**Hi, do you guys have any ideas on decorating homes so it feels like a wedding?

hey kiren.

depends on what you can get your hands on really.

a freind of mine was able to get hold of artifical flower strands ( the type you use to decorate the bed with) and had them on walls in the hallway and in the rooms a couple of handspans apart.....looked really nice.

i know ppl use diffrent coloured duppetta's and hang these creativly from cellings!

we had lights outside on my bro's wedding but dont think we'll be doin it on mine

we bought some decorations around valentines day....so had hearts scattered around the walls....erm....do you have any particular look you wanna go for?

You can also use saris that match the theme (yellow/green for mehndi). Just drape them somewhere or hang on the ceiling. You can also drape them on railings by stairs along with flowers.

Candles?
Candles in bowls of water?
Fairy lights?
Balloons? (not birthday party type obviously)
Dupattas on the walls and ceilings?
Pretty throws and cushions?
Fake petals?
