she donot have a website but she made my bridal dresses (both on walima and barat) if u r interseted she will show some pics of her collection she made dresses mostly on order.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful advice. I think I have made up my mind now to get the nails done first (maybe even a day before) and then prob get the hair done and leave makeup til the end. I really appreciate all your help and feel as if I have a bunch of sincere bridesmaids right here on gs! Thanks again:)

Humeira, I live in LA, and I'm very familiar with Ziba. Honestly, I don't like their bridal makeup at all. Don't be fooled by what's on their website, all the Ziba brides I've seen in real life were average, at best. They're great for other beauty services, but bridal makeup is not their strong suit, despite what they say. Their makeup looks pretty homemade, and sometimes, the colors they choose aren't the most flattering. Plus they're unreasonably priced if they're coming to your site.

If you can move the waxing closer to the wedding day, maybe 1 or 2 days before, that might be better. Just because you'll be more "freshly waxed" for the wedding and the days afterward. Some girls' hair grows fast and within a few days, they have a few hairs sprouting up.

Also, pomegranate, I live in So Cal too. Who are you using for your makeup and hair?

^ U can always tweeze those extra 2-3 hairs that sprout up.. not much hair can grow in one week and watever does is barely noticeable..i say 4-5 days is better coz at the time, ure also really stressed out and it can take longer htan usual for redness/swelling to go down. I think body waxing can be done 1-2 days.. although i’ve heard horror stories about applying mehndi on freshly waxed skin, this one girl had it done and since her pores were open frm the wax, the mehndi seeped in and poisnoned her and she died

^ is there always redness and swelling associated with waxing the face for the first time? Or is it just sensitive skin which i have.

Well for me my face is usually red for a coupla hours after i get it threaded (eyebrows and upper lips).. i think its the longer I go w/o it , the more intense and longer lasting it tends to be.. and i've also heard that as u keep waxing over and over, the hair grows back lighter/less anyway..

and get ur haircut/died at least a week before..
do ne waxing 4-5 days ahead.
and go wit the nails first, then makeup and hair.

Is your makeup artist not coming to wherever you are? I am a bridal makeup artist and I actually go to the bride to save her from running around. I do Hair and makeup so it really helps keep her calmer. Plus, my clients and I chat it up and she tends to be quite relaxed while she is in my hands :) I hope everything goes amazingly well for you at your wedding and do your best to keep yourself calm that day.

I'm getting my makeup done from MAC and hair from a small salon in Tustin (corner of Redhill and Walnut). My cousin got married two years ago and got hers done from the same places and she looked gorgeous on her big day. Also, if you guys want I can give you the number of an aunty who has a parlor at home and she does all sorts of beauty things including bridal makeup and hair. I asked her about traveling to SF and she said she would not be able to but her home salon is in Placentia, CA. PM me if you are interested.

hey congrats girl!
you should get yr nails done a day b4 yr wedding...and though its alwayz better 2 get yr hair and make-up done from same place but if u cant get that done than y dont u get yr hair done before the make-up...cuz the trouble is usually after they do yr make-up they do the hair but than they do touch ups 2 the make up in the end...if u know wat i m tryin 2 say.
