Wedding Clothes Fabric

Hey Girls!

Need some help on figuring out wat fabric most ppl use for their bridals?
Is it jamawar?

I want something thats flowy and not stiff… but also something that holds kaam well and doesn’t pull in places because the kaam is weighing it down…

n wat the heck do ppl use for dupattas?
Is it chiffon? I thought Chiffon was light… so wouldn’t the kaam on the borders (if i get thick borders) b too much for the fabric to hold?

tooo many decisions. i kno nothing about fabrics or kaam!!

Re: Wedding Clothes Fabric

Mine is an ivory pure silk chiffon with an underlay of ivory silk satin... but I am wearing quite a western dress.

So all of these are flowy and also handle kaam well?

Cuz whenever u see pics, the clothes all look so nice and fall so gracefully and have so much flow... and then u go in person and everythin looks stiff

Re: Wedding Clothes Fabric

Generally, chiffon or silk.

So plain chiffon, banarsi chiffon, jamawar chiffon. And the same for silks!
