Wedding checklist

Hi all,

So my wedding is 3 months away and I’m wondering where I should be at this point with wedding preps? Does anyone have some sort of checklist for 3 months before the wedding? I’ve tried looking online and I can’t find anything tailored to a desi wedding. I feel like there’s so much to do but I’m confused and overwhelmed. Plus Ramadan comes in between so that takes a month off of preps.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Wedding checklist

You should have placed orders for your bridal dresses by now. Makeup artist, photographer and venues should be booked. Themes (if any) for the events should have been decided and conveyed to friends/cousins/all relevant people.
From now, you should start regular dance practices, if you haven't already. Start regular facials. Start working on the address lists of people who will be invited via post. Select invitation cards and order them for printing. Finalise gifts for the in-laws. Start looking for things you'll need for the rasms eg. doodh pilai glass, flower baskets, trays and decor items for mehndi etc. Make a list of songs for dholki along with lyrics and start practicing.

Re: Wedding checklist

Hey, congrats on getting married. I am getting married in Dec this year inshAllah. I have booked the hall, sorted out the wedding favors and looking into photographer and a makeup artist atm. I have no idea who to go with and its getting on my nerves. I would appreciate if you can suggest any good ones in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
Thanks

For MUAs in Islamabad, you can check this link out:

For Rawalpindi, check out Moshaz. I’ve heard good reviews about them. No personal experience though.

Re: Wedding checklist

As far as photographers are concerned, Chaar Bhai has a great team.

Here’s a female: Facebook

I would personally recommend not going for a female photographer though! Not because they’re not competent, but because they may not be comfortable in certain situations, thus negatively impacting the quality of your photos.

Re: Wedding checklist

I agree what you mentioned about the female photographer. One of my friends had the same issue.
Thank you so much for sharing the info x
