i love these kind of simple cream/offwhite ones i cant seem to find many of them though :frowning:

Cuz I don’t want anything that looks too Western – want something with the touch of Pakistani weddings and with elegance.

I’m think that sort of see-through wax paper stuff in light green would be nice. Don’t know about the color of the writing etc.

This ones very pretty Xara
We’v been having too much white cards these days, there losing their elegance.

I like the rough paper ones with real flower petals embedded in 'em they look really nice.

You could even go for wooden cards with the invitation on one side and sum image or quotation..even an Ayat written on the other side so u can put it up like a frame. (had this planned for myself though :blush: )
that wud keep it around forever :slight_smile:

monasha i was thinking the same! i love the cream ones but this one is so different - im thinking of having an ayat in them as well, ill get it laminated or something :)

Just a suggestion Xara - I know someone who did this and it looked VERY COOL!! Get your name and your fiance’s name written in urdu in the shape of a heart on top of the actual invitation. Have a calligrapher combine both of your first names into this curvy heart shaped form. It looks :k: Hopefully the names aren’t too long hehe
