the theory goes you put it in the box/a box, wrap it really tightly with clingwrap, make it airtight and shove it in the freezer. i just dont know how that would taste...

We put the top layer of my sister’s wedding cake in the freezer … yup, for the whole year! We took it out on her first anniversary and they cut the cake again. :hoonh: However, everybody was too afraid to eat it or take a bite … except me. :smiley: I had some. It was o.k. Lekin, we ended up throwing the rest of it out.

wasn't there an episode in Seinfeld where Elaine's boss buys the cake of some long forgotten king in auction? Its costs him in thousands and she eats it! Apparently that cake wasnt supposed to be eaten. Just kept as a momento.
