Re: WEDDING BOOK

I am not sure when your wedding date is set to. Make sure to take pre-wedding pics of yourself with your mom/dad/siblings for memories. Also remember to pack a camera with you when you go to beauty parlor, and have someone snap a few shots of you getting ready with your best friend or whoever. Candid shots are awesome to look back on, especially for memories. You might even take a reallly nice clear shot of your outfit/jewelry just on ur bed or sumthing, just a close up. You might want to purchase one that is sturdy and make sure the photo sheets are good as well as long lasting and wont ruin pics 4-5 yrs down the line. In it create pre-wedding section....wedding section broken into mehndi/shadi/walima...and u can even do a few pics of you and hubby after the wedding more casual. Also you might want a book that allows you to write a note beneath pics to remember what was happening.

Re: WEDDING BOOK

wow..that is one co0l idea:biggthumb

Re: WEDDING BOOK

Oh and also give a camera (rather the disposable ones) to a trustworthy person and ask him/her to take candid shots of occurences thruout...maybe an emotional moment between u and mom/dad.....maybe a rasam....or direct ur photographer to do good close up shots like that...plus of ur hands with mehndi...maybe just ur earrings on ur ear......something fun

Re: WEDDING BOOK

and not only pics...we keep certain things too....like the $$ bill on which i had placed on my hand for the mehndi...that is in the album with the mehndi stains on it.....i had kept (and cleaned out) the glass (those fancy pakistani wine glass with a small plate) used to do the dhood palai.....i also had kept the ghana my saas put on me on my mehndi...(it was really nice)....little things like that, they spark memories of moments that were not on film.....u could have a wedding box type thingy

Re: WEDDING BOOK

my wedding is 28 days away InshaAllah.. i really like these ones.. couldnt have thought of them.. need more though ! (greedy me..hehe)

Re: WEDDING BOOK

If you are hiring a professional photographer, he/she will do that job for you.

Other day i was listning to NPR and its was the program about new trends of wedding books and i dont think you will be willing to have the book of "same kind" as gora loog are having thse days but your photographer will still be able to create a decent one.

Re: WEDDING BOOK

u can also keep ur mehndi/shaadi/valima cards...for memory sake

Re: WEDDING BOOK

make a scrap book, put the greeting cards with the pics, you can also put the invitation cards for mehendi, shadi, and valima in the beginning of each sec.

Re: WEDDING BOOK

haye this tooooooooooooo… :hayaa:

Re: WEDDING BOOK

^^ lol..it is not mandatory, it is on you, whatever you want to do, like to do , and can do...

Re: WEDDING BOOK

decent 6chora: i am not talking about wedding ALBUM..wedding book is something different..it has pics, cards and different things with notes ..a memorabilia of the entire event..

Re: WEDDING BOOK

I know the difference b/w wedding books and album and believe me photographers do that too. They will stay with you from Mayoon morning upto Valima night take a picture of every important thing you do on these day with timestamp, set everything into book and will give to you to write your own notes.

Like - Your picture on mayoon morning when you wake up with time stamp 8:43am
1:41 went for chori shopping …
6:23pm delivered card to friend

etc etc

Re: WEDDING BOOK

Decent,

that depends on the photographer, and package bought....not all photographers do that. Even when photographers are supposed to take pics of all these memorable events, they don't always catch it, that's why I think its a good idea for a family member.friend to be armed with a good camera...to capture these candid shots...just in case....

Re: WEDDING BOOK

agreed with afro !
