But I’m not selling anything here, or on my blog. Infact I want something from you.
I started this wedding blog because I felt there was the need for a space for inspiring and advising Desi Brides. And ofcourse celebrating the vibrant festivities of South Asian weddings.
As, a new/old or almost bride, what are somethings that are on your mind? What questions do you want answered? What does no one EVER tell the bride (but should)?
You tell me … afterall the blog is for YOU!
Love your blog Malism! My weddings a month away iA and I can't even begin to tell you everything that is on my mind! I was very eager to get my planning started so I started fairly early and was able to get all the little things out of the way, the details that if I had to start thinking about now, it would of never gotten done. I'm planning my wedding from another city and it has been very tough to make frequent trips for all the little appointments that are so important. Cake testing, trials, meeting with the photographers...with a month to go those are still pending for me! :S Maybe you could do a section on brides that have to plan weddings from another city! Planning the honeymoon is also something we were in the middle of this week. And invitations are definitely the most daunting of all...with a few more left to go I have completely slacked off because I am so fed up with them...not good I know. Hopefully they will come to an end this week. So many have come back, some havn't been recieved. Its a huge task that can turn into an issue with the famillies your inviting. I have so much on my mind about the things I need to get done but I guess thats a given with the wedding coming so close.
Thanks so much sana!! I really appreciate the feedback!
Congratulations!! I know how hard it can be planning your wedding from a different city/country. I’m definitely planning on featuring more stuff on long distance planning… and will hopefully have some expert advice from one of the leading Fashion designers!
I have a few blog posts on planning which might have some helpful tips for you … including a link to Google docs which should really become wedding essentials!! Best of luck with everything!!

P.S. Be sure to add/‘Like’ Inspirational Laddu to your Facebook Pages to keep updated on new posts and gorgeous weddings!!
You are going great! I would love to see more entries at your blog. Do you contact the vendors/couples for pics you just post randomly whatever you like? I would love to see a designer Bunto Kazmi related feature.
More entries are definatly coming up. I'v just been busy because my family has been in town these past few weeks. The weddings I post are ones that are either submitted by couples and/or photographers and I have contacts with some awesome desi photographers. I never post a wedding without the consent ... and I try to never post a photograph without giving credit! Thanks again for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it .... will definatly try to get some Bunto outfits in soon ... :)
