Yeah, we tend to do nikkahs at home in our family as well.. I think both home or mosque are nice..

Mum also suggested having the reception in a marquee in the garden but then changed her mind when she imagined all the kids running thru the house with muddy shoes etc. to use the loo and just generally causing chaos..

I recently went to a wedding where they had a marquee in the garden (it was huge). They also had a luxury toilet cabin outside for the guests. It doesn’t seem overly expensive to rent either.
