Hi all, It was my second wedding anniversary on the 30th. Mom called us around for a lovely dinner and me and hubby exchanged gifts and cards at 12 on 29th. I am trying to plan a day out so we can do fun things etc together as we’ve been through some pretty rough time with hubby having a major surgery last couple of months. Stuff like going to theatre, movies, places like aquarium, london eye etc is something we have done before, I was wondering whether anyone knew of another outdoor fun activities in London or any other ideas. Thanks.

Alton towers
Drayton Manor
Eurostar to paris
Scotland
West midlands Safari Park
London Zoo
Have u ever driven to a really nice part of the countryside and had a picnic on a warm summers day?
Or stay the night in a luxury country hotel, wake up with the view of greenery and the birds singing...
Or rent a beach cottage...
Things like that are very relaxing.

We've been to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. Unfortunately we can't take any days off right now, he works mon-fri and i work on sundays so won't be able to go anywhere. We're delaying a small holiday for now. I was wondering activities for a day.
Drayton Manor seems interesting, I'll look it up on net. Thanks for your suggessions :=)
