Your right... but wedding is a time to be happy.. and it's nice to be happy with ppl.. you should not show off... but if Allah gave you money you should use them.. ... you dont need to buy a $1000 dress just to use one day.. but maybe a $500 and use the other $500 to help a poor person.. that's what i think..
