i’m getting married:) , and were going to hold the wedding in pakistan. i was wondering if anyone had pictures for bridal wear that would be suitable for the summer.

I know the feeling.

My mother in law had mine made, was a surprise until the day before the mehndi. I had given her photos of things I liked, and she has nice taste, so it all worked out.

Here are my clothes (red and green for the wedding, ferozi for the valima)

i love the one for the valima, my future mother-in-law and my mom have known eachother sinse they were in college, so i think i'm pretty lucky in the sense that when i go to pakistan i'll be able to chose what i want, cause i know it's tradition but i wouldn't be able to trust someone else to pick out my wedding dress....but you were lucky, those are really pretty

shinz, it's an angharka (churidaar with that top). it's got absolutely gorgeous kaam on it. i really love that outfit.

I was so bad at keeping track of details at that point (tho that's what kept me from stressing too much), but if I had thought of it, I would've worn some.

I'm trying to find some place here that makes nice ones, but the only ones I'm seeing are like one long strand of the 'gajra' flower. It's not in a nice, pretty bunch like they have them in Pakistan. :(

Mehnaz.......call me....I'll tell you how to make that bunch of flowers from fresh ones.....your sister's wedding is just at the perfect time cuz these flowers are in bloom around that time.....
