Websense

Can we bypass Websense ?

Re: Websense

You can bypass anything depending upon what loop holes your Network/Security teams hasn't covered.

Re: Websense

So how can i found those loop holes...
or if you can list any of those...

Re: Websense

Not, if its been setup half decently.

Re: Websense

what website(s) are u trying to get to :hoonh: j/k

related to this, how bout using proxy.org or something? or does websense block proxified requests too?

Re: Websense

you can try this out and see if it works cause i’ve set up something similar before..

go to start —>run—> type in “CMD” —> type in “nslookup www.whateverwebsiteyouwanttovisit.com” (make sure it has no http://) it will give you an ip address… post that into your browser (just the ip address) and it enter.

WALAH!

damn i’m good, now you can call me the master.

Re: Websense

I’m not sure if this is really what you are looking for, but try Torpark … it might just work [depending on what your guys are blocking - sites or keywords]

Re: Websense

absolutely wrong

Re: Websense

try JAP....

go to google and search for it :)

Re: Websense

I hope to God your “bread and butter” doesn’t depend on this skill?!

Re: Websense

yep JAP has been the master of disguise and works from almost anywhere…

Re: Websense

If you ping the domain, you can get the IP address as well .. no need to go into nslookup. This workaround is only effective when DNS queries to a domain have been blocked …

No one here tried Torpark? Its really cool you know … its basically a spin off from Firefox and is VERY effective. I tried quite a few anonymizers before but they didn’t work very well with my ISP, but Torr just rocks …

Re: Websense

i think it has been setup very decently ..
Nos : torparj is blocked under "Proxy Avoidance".

and using the IP that doesn't even works ..

well JAP is also blocked under "Proxy Avoidance".

Re: Websense

Ofcourse we’ve heard of Torpark. If you do a search you’d find some other threads on it. Torpark is the Firefox adaptation of TOR (The Onion Ring) which was invented by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and can be used for other applications.
And in this case it won’t work as explained by the reason above.
