Hi all just started ( i know late) webcam with yahoo chat with my cousins in pk, was curious if yahoo allowed voice (We couldn’t figure it out) or is there another site we can use to see and hear family?

msn ... better quality if u just wanna "talk" to ur relatives on net .....
no voice n cam simultaneously in msn :(

^my MSN works better than yahoo with video and voice, pc-phone: voice quality as good as land line. :)

Why would you make things hard for yourself?
Just do a simple webam chat on either MSN or Yahoo. Personally, Yahoo works much better for me but MSN might work better for you. So try both.

i find using the webcam and the audio with yahoo or msn very annoying...since the voice quality is greatly reduced and there is feedback and what not. there is this other audio conversation thing...umm...i can't remember the name right now but will soon update you.

If so, I really don't find it all that better than Yahoo webcam with audio.

with my experiences...the best combination to talk backhome with voice and video was...google talk for talking and yahoo for webcam simultaneously....works great.

yes that. i found that the “call” dropped a lot…but atleast the quality of the audio conversation was much, much better that if you use the same messenger service for audio and video.

i guess no one has heard of paltalk, log on to paltalk.com and you can create a room where you can audio and video, and the quality is out of this world, you can also chat in pms while viewing your loved ones. good luck and have fun.
