**Mark Webber clocked the fastest time in practice ahead of qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.**The Red Bull driver topped the sheets with a fastest lap time of one minute 24.719 seconds, 0.2secs faster than Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso.
Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher, in his 250th Grand Prix, was third fastest ahead of Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel.
Schumacher’s team-mate Nico Rosberg was fifth, in front of McLaren duo Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.
