I came across alot of websites with good prices.. so far godaddy.com has the cheapest price which i saw for webhosting $9.99 per month…with 5 gigs 250gig transfer etc… Can u recommend anything better? what should i look out for when signing up with a web hosting company?

50MB hosting (I know its not much but enough to run a website) on top its only around 32$ for the whole year including domain. Anyway, if u are interested let me know.

Slow servers, slow support, lots of downtime. This host is nothing but trouble. Pay a little more and find a decent host.

Im using canaca.com for nearly 9 months and i cant say im stisfied.

Lots of downtimes, a lot of server troubles and bad server configuration.

I got a VPS from canaca and it comes with prepaired spam guard, and antivirus but the problem is that computer with 256 MB ram does not enough for all servers and that programs together. Also ensim controlpanel uses lots of Ram and cpu.

Also, Customer support is not fast enough . I remember 5-6 times i waited 3 days for my site to work also waited 1 week for opening my account.

Also they can deactivate your hosting plan without warn. I experienced that too… I asked why is that and reply comes in 3 days later. Your website have huge number of visitors and our servers cant hold it with a virtual hosting plan. But the problem is they gave me 600 GB monthly bandthwidth and 30 Gb HD space and i was using 1/90 of my hd and bandthwidth.I must say that I only got 15-20 users on my dynamic php site at the same time and about 5000-12000 hits in one day. Is that huge ? or i cannot host that site on a virtual hosting plan ? Also im really want to know that how can i fill 600 GB bandthwidth without having traffic?

This is my opinion.
Im still using canaca.
And my site seriously slow loading now too .

People dont submit complaints for no reason,
stop being defensive and go back to your canaca office desk.

It sounded too good to be true, so I browsed around for
reviews, and here we are.

Usually a decent host has no much review, because
when customer is satisfied(which they are supposed to be),
they won’t go around and leave positive feedback.
Customer pays the money, and everyone expect good service,
so if they do, it’s not a BIG DEAL, so they dont leave positive review unless its really oustanding or something.

All I did was call the customer service, and I could already tell this company was full of %hit.

Reliabilaty and server load. Some companies will fill each server with **** loads of accounts which means you have a slow site especially if using technologies like a database or preprocesor e.g. PHP, ASP. Same goes for CGI. Bandwith should also be an issue wome wonr have enough for effective use so you get a lot of time out’s on peak times.

I use 3dpixelnet, maybe a bit more than some but I think a reasonable price plenty more pricey. I would send [email protected] an e-mail say I (RISC) told you might offer some discounts. Best thing about this is the service the ownser is pretty much contactable 24/7 and fast.

I have GigE line and reserved about 200TB bw and i am running www.JustUpIt.com offerin 100mb of free webspace as one click hosting without any restrictions. I can give u free hosting, just get ur domains and add my hosting nameservers and i will link u up with an account with about 200gig of bw pr month and 5 gig of webspace. i appreciate everyone for their kind help... i signed up with godaddy lol..it was fast, reliable and cheap... anyhow i will definately give ur company a try babakhan...speed looks very interesting! :)

GoDaddy should be used for purchasing domains and purchasing domains only. They are not experienced with web hosting. Well some people on VPS also at Godady have had issues with them, and most users switch to other hosts after trying godady. They are not experienced with web hosting and have far too many customers to provide even the smallest bit of personalized service, and have locked down their servers pretty tight so they don't have to. Leave the Hosting to the Hosters and the Domains to godaddy. They are terrible. Anyway, Best of luck.

You should consider, what kind of website do you have, how much traffic do you have, do 250gig transfer enough for you, if yes then you should buy it.
