So… I am probably having an outdoor wedding inshallah as it’s always been my dream to have an outdoor wedding. But I feel like a red outfit won’t go well with the outdoor, spring time feel I’m going for. But I’ve always wanted to dress up as a red, traditional bride too. Do you guys think it will be weird if I wear lighter, pastel type colors on my shaadi but red on my walima? Thanks!

Why would it be weird? It's YOUR wedding, wear whatever you like, and whenever you like. :)

I know people who wore red on their valima. A lot of my gujji friends have done this too, wear white or a light colour on shaadi and red on valima.
