Wearing a nathni (nose ring)

Re: Golden circle

When one of my cousins was getting married, her nath went in really really painfully so i was kinda skeptical of wearing one on my own wedding. But i like them and ofcourse my mother wouldnt let me rukhsatified without one (:D), i wore one on my wedding and surprisingly it wasnt too bad at all. It went in really easily and didnt feel heavy or anything. I was offered food but i didnt eat much so that wasnt a problem. The most annoying piece of jewellery was the necklace, it kept chubhing me.

Re: Golden circle

For me it did hurt, i'd had my nose pierced almost a year before and so far there'd nver been any pain/discomfort w/ it, but w/ the nath, there was definitely discomfort... i think i was mostly worried my makeup wud be ruined....

Re: Golden circle

no it wasn't pierced....desi stores also sell naths for unpierced nose too. You just gotta press both sides of the ring against your skin ouch i still remember having sharp pain on my nose for 3 days after i tried it and I was told many brides wear them...how retarded!! I know even if my nose was pierced it would still annoy me coz the naths are always so big and sit right on top of the lips so it feels uncomfortable talking, eating or paying attention to other things! :@

Re: Golden circle

hahah....if i remember correctly you only wore one but big necklace on your rukhsati...it did look uncomfy but I guess it was still better than having to wear 3-4 necklaces at the same time like we see in many weddings. :D

Re: Golden circle

how long b4 the day shud one get thir noses pierced? like is 2 months enuf to heal or shud it be longer (like 6 months) ? : sooch mey dooba hua peela aadmi:

Re: Golden circle

errr 6-8 months is best... in fact as soon as possible, so that u can have time to heal and get over any infection that might arise... its close to impossible for an infection to develop after ur nose has been peirced for a few months, irritation maybe but not infection

Re: Golden circle

Ufff, those double sets (choker + necklace to look like one big thing) are really uncomfortable..but they come in handy afterwards so u can wear em one at a time depending on occasion.. instead of 1 huge one

Re: Golden circle

JAK 4 the advise… ok, so i really shud get it done 6 months early… dont wanna look like i have a pakorha pretuding out of the side of my nose on the big day

Re: Nose rings
