thank you India for uniting Pakistan... For the Indians and non-urdu speakers, the articles states that if India dares to attack Pakistan, the TTP will join the Pakistan Army, despite differences and fight side by side with them.

Don't you worry. It is not Pakistanis but the ABCD (and UBCD) terror-sympathizers who are beating the war drums and raising taliban slogans.

Off course Indian media didn't help with their initial jump the gun approach. But it looks like things are calming down.

Res assured Pak army will continue whooping taliban @rse regardless of the ABCD and UBCD sloganeering.

If it is, then it will be good for Pakistan in the long run. But from the posts of many it seems that they are too happy that taliban wants to fight India. That would bolden India to go on the offensive very quickly, because by then international community will be fully in the side of India. Pakistan will be isolated. Not even the chinese would be willing to associate with Pakistan.

Just calm down Sahib. The last thing "international community" (read US and UK) wants is to see two pro-West governments to fight each other.

For US and UK, India is important for its call centers and Techies, and Pakistan is very important for its military. As long as the two groups do their "assigned" jobs, things will not spiral out of control.

And yes. Chinese will only make statements, but they will not deploy their forces to defend Pakistan. Some guppies are drinking to much Chinaman cola.

When the sons of Pakistan are defending their nation (should the need arise, and it will inevitably), where will you be? On the sidelines making excuses why you shouldn't join to defend the nation? A war maybe what is needed to unite the country. Islam or Pakistan doesn't need you to make it shine, it will do it on its own. Apologists are the reason Pakistan is where it is today. It's a pity.

Doesn't much matter who the guys "here" think. Most of them are on a dole of mommy daddy or living off of the taxpayers' bakhshihs.

They are the supporters of of Jihad just like 7/7 bombers or the suicidal doctors of Glasgow airport.

For them life has no meaning, because they have not worked for it, nor their parents have taught them to respect life.

Sans respect for life, their only link to this world is the Egyptian or Iranian corrupted brands of a religion.

So they will jump up and down without even the semblance of real life. So let them jump up and down.

They say Taliban will fight "side-by-side" with Pak army. So what is that side, left or right.

Armies fight under strict discipline and command. Whereas these Talibs do not have discipline nor they will follow directions from GHQ. In fact if they are allowed to come out of caves, the very first thing they will do is destroy Pakistan's GHQ.

So people who are living in la la land that somehow Talibans will be the defenders of Pakistan, they are utterly mistaken.

Look at Afghanistan. What kind of defense Talibs put up against Americans. Zero, Zilch, nada.

Few daisy cutters, and these Talibs ran with their tails squarely fitted in their hind legs. And that Mullah umar ran on a mo-ped.

Right now these Talibs are killing more Afghanis than NATO.

The same thing will be true if we use them against regular Indian army. Do you think these Talibs have training to face off a regular army on the border of Sindh, or Punjab. Heck no. The flat lands on these two fronts mean that Indian air power and Indian tanks will destroy these Talibs in no time.

Then these talibs will run to the hills of Wazirastan saying "Ib ka saalay, mamoon Zawahiri ko bulaoon ga".

The problem with "ib ka salay" is that Lahore and Multan and Hyderabad Sindh would have already fallen if it were up to the Talibs.

Sure some of these Talibs would do suicide bombing of Indian troops, but that cannot change the big picture.

Then again more Pakistanis will die at the hands of Talib suicidal maniacs than what Indian army would kill.

Howeer these London based pakistani souls of this forum would never understand that. They will keep on saying ib ka salay from their comfy apartments.

“We will increase attacks on the NATO and US forces based in Afghanistan and the supply of goods from Pakistan to these forces,” Hakeemullah, a Taliban commander, told a group of reporters who were taken on a rare trip to the group’s stronghold in Aurakzai tribal region.
The journalists were escorted to the group’s hideout from Peshawar Wednesday, travelling more than eight hours to meet the Taliban leader at Mamouzai.
The AFP journalist on the trip said he saw no law enforcement officials for the final half of the journey to the hideout deep in the mountainous area.
“We will not lay down arms as long as Pakistan’s army does not stop operations against us,” Hakeemullah said, adding that his chief Baitullah Mehsud, head of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, was in good health.
Pakistan briefly barred delivery of fuel tankers and food trucks to NATO and US-led forces this month for security reasons, after Taliban militants in the rugged lawless area hijacked 15 trucks destined for Afghanistan and looted the vehicles.
Pakistan has mounted military operations against militants in the tribal belt, which became a safe haven for hundreds of extremists who fled Afghanistan after the US-led toppling of the hardline Taliban regime in late 2001.

Until now, the reputation of Hakimullah Mehsud was that of a ruthless commander, who was always on the move. He was referred to as a mobile Pakistani Taliban commander, who would pop up in one or the other tribal areas and make his presence felt. Now that he has met reporters for the first time, it was confirmed that he is the Taliban commander for three tribal agencies — Khyber, Kurram and Orakzai. It also became known that he was a cousin of Qari Hussain, a much-feared Taliban commander who is believed to be the trainer and sponsor of suicide bombers.

The Peshawar-based reporters were also witness to a bizarre incident when Hakimullah’s fighters started firing indiscriminately at a plane that suddenly appeared in the sky. While at least one reporter wrote that the aircraft, which was fired at, was a US spy plane, others felt it was a passenger aircraft.

The plane flying at a high-altitude wasn’t hit and the Taliban fighters who had turned their Kalashnikov rifles and other light weapons at it laughed off the incident by remarking that it afforded them “a shooting practice”. Such is the carefree and irresponsible attitude of the young men who now make up the bulk of the Taliban force.

Hakimullah, who could aspire to succeed Baitullah Mehsud one day, made some strong-worded statements in his maiden encounter with the journalists. He threatened attacks against the PPP and ANP leadership for having ordered military operations against the Taliban. He made no effort to hide his group’s plans to disrupt the supplies for Nato forces passing through Pakistan and warned of a tit-for-tat response for the US drone attacks in the tribal areas. He claimed the Taliban could attempt to take Peshawar and other towns and cities “if the rulers failed to change their pro-US policies”. The young Taliban commander remarked that he found no difference between Bush and Obama. He also felt former president General Pervez Musharraf’s policies were still being followed in Pakistan.
